The ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group is extremely proud to have as our major sponsors:
The Queanbeyan Leagues Club and the ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group

The Queanbeyan Leagues Club made their first donation to the ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group in 1986, and have continued to support the group each year.
The Queanbeyan Leagues Club are major sponsors of our organization in the following:
Hawaiian Shirt Day and the Queanbeyan Leagues Club / Country Link Golf Day.
They also raise funds for this group e.g. Trivia Night, Karaoke, Charity Box and on a number of occasions, Management and Staff have helped the group with Xmas presents, household goods, and support for patients and families.
The Queanbeyan Leagues Club helps many charities, organisations, schools, art, appeals, sporting bodies and many more. Their community support for 2005 ending 30th October was in excess of $900,000.00.
The ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group, is very fortunate to have the amazing support of the Queanbeyan Leagues Club so generously give to us.
Thanks
Capital Chemists and the ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group

Capital Chemists is proud to be a Major Sponsor of the ACT Eden-Monaro Cancer Support Group. The Partners of the Capital Chemist Group see this association as very exciting and wholly consistent with our policy of becoming involved in and supporting community activities . We know the tremendous and important work that the Support Group does and we feel that this work is often unappreciated by the wider Community . We feel a real synergy exists between the Support Group and Capital Chemists because many of our customers are clients of both groups.
Capital Chemists is owned and operated by a multiple partnership of fourteen local Pharmacists. There are fifteen Capital Chemist stores in Canberra, principally in the suburbs. The Group has over 300 staff and is one of the larger private employers in the ACT. The Capital Chemist Group offers many practice specialties including medication reviews, methadone dosing, surgical equipment hire, asthma and diabetes management, sleep apnoea management and unit dosing packs for elderly patients. All of our stores are accredited Quality Care Pharmacies. This introduces a regime of processes and audits, which guarantees very high levels pf professional practice and service, and boosts training levels for all staff.
This financial year the group has allocated over $ 200,000 towards funding community activities and the ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group is our major beneficiary. These funds are provided on a “no-strings-attached” basis – the Capital Chemist Group occupies a seat on the Board of the ACT Eden-Monaro Cancer Support Group.
Our Capital Chemist staff have assisted at several Cancer Support functions and we anticipate more personal involvement as time goes by. Long may this association continue.
These wonderful businesses support the Group in many ways from monetary support to volunteering at our functions. We would not be able to continue to assist our many families without the generosity of these major sponsors.
