REVS UP $20,000.00 FOR THE ACT EDEN MONARO CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

Harley Owners Group Monaro Chapter presented the ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group with a cheque for $20,000.00 at a presentation on Saturday, 8th April 2006.
The money raised was a result of a state rally where over 700 Harley-Davidson riders rode from all over Australia to meet in Jindabyne, which was followed by four days of entertainment, competitions and various other events. In total the rally raised over $32,000.00, which went to the Cancer Support Group, Black Mountain School and the Snowy Hydro Southcare Helicopter Service.
Established in 1993, the Monaro Chapter promotes family and community activity around the safe and responsible riding of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. In addition, the group also supports local charities in urgent need of funds.
Monaro Chapter Director Christine McLeod said “The Harley Owners Group Monaro Chapter is thrilled to support the ACT Eden Monaro Cancer Support Group in providing their valuable services to cancer patients and their families.
“I would also like to thank our fantastic members who really gave generously and worked hard to achieve our fundraising goals”.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE HARLEY OWNERS GROUP.
